VP Sales & Marketing
About The Position
Rail Vision is a multidisciplinary startup headquartered in Ra'anana. We utilize the latest Artificial Intelligence and Electro Optics technologies and develop lifesaving, vision systems for the global railway market.
As a key leader you will be responsible for formulating the overall sales & marketing strategy and ensuring the success of our innovative solution in the market over the world.
Responsibilities:
· Opening new markets for the company for an innovative product in the field of train safety
· Lead, coach ,and develop a sales and marketing team providing and helping them achieve their goals including providing them with strategic direction
· Continually analyze market trends, customer needs ,and competitive landscape to identify opportunities .
· Close and sign long contracts and projects with the company’s customers.
· Effectively communicate project expectations to R&D project team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
· Prepare and deliver proposals as well as business presentations
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Projects, Legal and Finance to ensure alignment and deliver the best outcomes for our
customers and the company.
· Create and maintain solid and strong relationship with potential customers and partners implementing and monitoring sales metrics to drive
performance improvement.
Requirements
· B.A Degree in engineering, Economics or Business administration, MBA- Advantage.
· 10 years of relevant background within an international high-tech company in a similar role.
· A minimum of 5 years of experience managing a sales team- mandatory
· Ability to build price profitable proposals.
· Proven experience in negotiating with major organizations-mandatory
· Deep understanding in long sales process including within the technological arena.
· Background from the defense/ aerospace/ automotive or railway industries.
· Experience in complex multidisciplinary systems.
· Ability to learn and sell new and innovate technologies.
· Experience with project management methodologies.
· Ability to manage multiple customers.
· Team Player, with a high level of transparency and integrity
· Strong verbal, representative personality with presentation and rhetorical abilities.
· Excellent English reading, writing, and oral communication skills.
· Willingness to travel worldwide.
